MPB's coronavirus facts page is updated daily with Mississippi on the virus.

MPB saw the danger in large numbers of media videographers and tech staff gathered for the governor’s briefings. To make the briefings safer, MPB suggested to the governor’s office that the agency provide the pool feed for the state’s media and we began those duties this week. The difference in the room is noticeable and reporters now are seated in ways to foster social distancing. MPB has also started a weekly education call-in show where state administrators answer questions from the public about the ever-changing status of Mississippi’s 500,000 public school students, standards and expectations.
