Kentucky Educational Television is the largest public broadcasting network in the country, reaching 5.5 million people in Kentucky and the seven surrounding states through 16 transmitters. An innovative producer of digital education tools that support student achievement, KET produces and provides efficient, high-quality early childhood education; K-12 instructional resources; online high-school classes; and teacher professional development; as well as adult learning and workforce development. Since 1968, KET has delivered instructional videos and tools, acclaimed PBS series and specials, and now serves the state via digital and high-definition broadcast technology. More than 35,000 donors provide loyal private support toward advancing KET’s mission, while working each day to use television and the Internet to help people everywhere keep learning throughout their lives.
