The Hub is designed to be a jumping off point for all PBS services to stations, as well as a collection of best practices, data and analysis and a source of inspiration for your station.
Several years ago we started with a simple site for sharing data and case studies called the Station Management Center. Over time the SMC grew from just a few hundred members to over 2,500! It also grew in terms of type of content when we added areas for ideas, collaboration, a master calendar and much more.
Stations have expressed to us their frustration at being able to find PBS tools and services as they tend to be spread out on many different sites. This new site is not meant to replace any of those sites, but is designed to act as a “Hub” to help you find what you need and who to talk to.
