KVIE is the primary public television station in the nation's 20th largest television market, serving almost 1.4 million viewers with the best in documentaries, science, nature, history, local in-depth stories and more in the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto television market. Its mission is to educate, inspire and unite the community through events, outreach programs and quality television. In addition to broadcasting programs like Antiques Roadshow, NOVA, Nature, FRONTLINE and PBS Kids shows, KVIE is an active producer of content for a national audience in America's Heartland, and locally with KVIE Arts Showcase, Studio Sacramento, Rob on the Road, and documentaries and shows under their ViewFinder series.
