How long have you been working in Public Television?
Just celebrated 3 years working with PBS SoCal.

Can you share with us details about a project you’re currently working on that really excites you?
I manage PBS KIDS underwriting in my market. I am mid-year in a multi-market buy (in KIDS) with First 5 California that is run through a couple of agencies. What excites me in addition to working with the great people at the various agencies is the heart of their message which is the importance of Talking, Reading, Singing to children.

What was your favorite part/session of Annual Meeting so far?
Hard to pick one favorite. Meeting folks at other stations, learning about their successes and sharing mine, and the PBS KIDS themed breakfasts.

What is your biggest Annual Meeting or DevDay takeaway or favorite part?
When they were giving the memoriam in honor of all the great people that worked in public media for decades, it affirmed my decision to work for my station and in public media. It inspired and energized me to work hard and smart.

What did you learn at the meeting that you plan to incorporate into your work back at your station?
I learned more about the 24/7 KIDS channel. I am ready to monetize it for PBS SoCal.

What is your favorite PBS series or program?
Poldark and Daniel Tiger

If you could switch places with any PBS character, who would it be and why?
If I could switch places with a PBS character I would pick Cookie Monster, because I think it would be fun to live on Sesame Street and I like cookies.

On days that you’re feeling a little tired or overwhelmed, and you imagine going ‘off-the-grid”… what is your ideal situation? Where do you go?
Sometimes I take a little walk and get some fresh air. Or, I go to my large messy notebook, where I write everything down and see what rock (s) I need to continue to overturn. What potential PBS KIDS sponsor is it time to go back to with fresh information?
